The way these snacks are set up…

People always tell me Blue is spoiled and I always laugh because it is true! It is pretty fun spoiling a doggy because the return on investment is unconditional love. Blue is so spoiled that whenever Joe and I travel for work, we try and bring him home some treats.

Last year, we went to a wedding in Philadelphia and stayed across from the Reading Terminal. So, one afternoon we go to the reading terminal for breakfast and stop by a meat shop that had smoked dog bones and treats for dogs - we bought some for Blue!

This year we went skiing in Colorado and spent a day in Vail. We explored the town and stumbled across a dog store and stopped in. We bought Blue some Capelin Whole Fish for treats! Needless to say, he loved them.

We then spent the weekend in Maine to visit Family and if you know anything about Maine, everyone loves LL Bean. So, after spending a few hours in LL Bean we discovered a dog section and you know, bought Blue treats! We bought him clam strips, we couldn’t find the Lobster rolls for dogs.

Of course we can’t bring Blue on all of our trips, but we can certainly bring him something back so he can experience a bit of it as well. We still do normal shopping on Amazon and the pet store for treats, but making sure we throw in something extra special when we can.

How do you shop for treats for your dog?
